Mission Statement
The purpose of G.B.R.E.A. is to minister to the diverse constituency of Baptist Christian educators in Georgia by providing opportunities for spiritual growth, professional development, fellowship, relationship building, and ministry support.
Who is invited?
Membership is made up of persons involved in, interested in, or retired from the ministry of Christian education. The G.B.R.E.A. brings together church education ministers, workers from various state conventions departments, regions of the state, associations, administrators, students, as well as those from other professional interests.
Since its founding in 1963 the Georgia Baptist Religious Education Association has consistently sought to build bridges among fellow ministers. In so doing, it has given a growing branch of church ministry new recognition and has become a vital vehicle for exchange of ideas. The members of G.B.R.E.A. have been sparked with enthusiasm, committed to common goals, and sustained by common support.
Wherever you serve and whatever you title...if you are involved in Christian education, G.B.R.E.A. is for you!
