GBACE Membership

The Georgia Baptist Association of Christian Educators (GBACE) equips disciple-making ministers of the Gospel in Christian ministry who serve in churches and ministries connected to the Georgia Baptist Convention. We promote excellence in the study, teaching, and application of God’s Word through:

The purpose of G.B.A.C.E. is to minister to the diverse constituency of Baptist Christian educators in Georgia by providing opportunities for spiritual growth, professional development, fellowship, relationship building, and ministry support.

Membership is made up of persons involved in, interested in, or retired from the ministry of Christian education. G.B.A.C.E. brings together ministers of education and administrators, as well as ministers to senior adults, median adults, young adults, college adults, students, children, and preschool in the local church. In addition , GBACE welcomes and appreciates joint efforts with state missionaries, associational missionaries, and representatives from Southern Baptist Convention colleges, seminaries, and entities such as NAMB, IMB, and LifeWay.

 

Since its founding in 1963 as the Georgia Baptist Association of Religious Education (GBREA), GBACE has consistently sought to educate, inspire, and build bridges among fellow ministers. In doing so, it has given a growing area of church ministry new recognition and has become a vibrant vehicle for exchange of ideas. The members of G.B.A.C.E. have been known for their love for the Lord, their commitment to God's Word, and their desire to help one another.
